Good morning my very fine family. Waking up as a glorious Sabbath is ours with life in our bodies to enjoy it and I say Thank You Father who takes care of our every need. Hoping that everyones weekend has been great and yall are staying cool in this heat. This morning Id like to honor Papa God with a verse from the gospel of Luke 4:12, Do not put the Lord your God to the test. I take this verse from the story in Luke where our Christ led by the Holy Spirit went into the desert for 40 days to basically have one on one time with His Precious Father and the old devil man had to tag along to tempt Him. Dont understand why this demon thought he could convince the Son of God to turn away from His Father. Jesus calmly and firmly rejected the temptation and then spoke the words warning of not putting His Father to the test. How many times have we done just that with our Papa God? I know the person I was before turning my life completely over to Him did it more times than I even dare to think. But with His undying love and faith in me, He waited for me to return to His loving arms. This verse spoke to me so very much as we are witnesses to the atrocities that are occurring around the world and in our very own back yards. This is not to include any personal missteps we take in our walk with God. I read yesterday something that has stuck in my head. It told how not only God has a plan for our lives, but that old devil man has one for us as well. Dont know about yall but that thought makes me shutter. Sometimes in the scheme of trying to get ahead in our lives wrong turns can be made. Once weve made that turn, a U-turn needs to be made immediately. Our Father is the most loving and understanding Father well ever know but He does have His limits. Now is the time to look at our lives and our beliefs and ask ourselves if our actions and thoughts actually please us or please all of heaven above. Too many wolves are wandering around in sheeps clothing proclaiming all they are doing is in the name of all that is holy. Lets not get caught up in other peoples hatred. Wherever our lives are right now lets make them count. And the way to do so is by turning ourselves over to God and have Him lead our paths. It is up to us to beg forgiveness and not try to justify wrong actions when we do mess up. I write all this because I sincerely believe as the world is spinning out of control, our Father is being put through a test that will not end well for those forsaking His Holy name. Lets all just do our best to stay on the path of righteousness and whatever we do, we do it to please not only our Holy Trinity but every single angel who watches from above. My family Ill never get tired of letting yall know how very much I love you and how very special each of you are. Have a day full of love and light which it will be when you open your heart and declare this your day.
