Good morning, my wonderful friends. Stan here, reporting for service… I am often asked during media interviews, fitness workshops, and in small groups, Do you eat weird foods to keep yourself fit and running?. In a few minutes you will find me in the kitchen cooking a meal which speaks volumes. I probably could do my own recipe book, Get yourself a pan. Put a cup of water and a cup of 1 or 2% milk on medium heat. Then put ¾ cup of real oats into the pan. I like to add ¼ chopped apple…some raisins…1 tablespoon of orange juice concentrate…some honey…1 tbsp. at least…I take a handful of walnuts and chop until they are almost powder…all this is blended in together…if you need a little more liquid…do it. Some of you may like just a “whisper” of cinnamon. Stir some…when this comes to a moderate boil…turn off burner…then slice about a half banana on top and blend…put a lid and let set for 5 or six minutes. While this is going on, take a slice of whole wheat bread or even better…a slice of Ezekiel Bread…toast, put a little butter on…get yourself a bowl…put toast on bottom…pour the oatmeal “concoction” on top and treat yourself to a phenomenal,, healthy, gastronomical delight. Your body will thank you immensely. Now, rest a few minutes and treat yourself to two to three minutes to read Proverbs 2 from the Holy Bible. Ask God to speak to you in a special way as how to apply in your world today. After that Go to the Book of Psalms and read number 90:13-17. Here’s a recipe for Spiritual Health, Emotional Health, and Physical health. Bon Appetit… Can you hear me? Am I speaking loud enough?
