Good morning our hearts and prayers go out to the soldiers and - TopicsExpress

Good morning our hearts and prayers go out to the soldiers and family members in the Fort Hood Community that were affected by what happened on yesterday. As I sit here and think about it, several scriptures come to my mind this morning and I will once again go in the direction that I feel God pulling me. Psalms 63:3-4, “because thy love and kindness is better than life my lips shall praise we, thus will I bless You while I live”. On yesterday lives were taken and lives were changed in the blink of an eye. The people that were hurt and lost our lives did not have time to wish that they had done some things better. They did not have time to think about telling that love one that they love them, or reaching out to the person that they needed to extend forgiveness to. Tragedy struck again when it was least expected and once again I hear the words GET YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER! I am not really talking about our natural house but this spiritual body that we have. We need to ensure that we have our affairs in order, because what happened at Fort Hood yesterday can be knocking at our door today. We are not speaking that into the atmosphere but we do need to be mindful that at any moment life can be taken from us and WE WILL be standing before God giving an account for what we have or have not done. I cannot stress this enough, look at what is going on, last week in California, they had a mudslide, an earthquake, and get this……a tornado in California. On Tuesday in Chile they had an 8.2 earthquake followed up by a 7.6 aftershock yesterday. All the tragic things that have happened in the last week are things that no one had control of, yet lives were lost and changed. My question to us today is will we be ready to go as a result of something or someone else’s doing and not our own? Truth of the matter is each day we pass many people and we have no idea what people are thinking, going through, or what will set them off, and we could just happen to be in the crossfire. We cannot predict when or where the next natural disaster will happen, yet we can be in the path of its destruction. If tragedy were to land at our front door today, would we be ready to give account to God for the life that we have lived? I leave us with this as I have stated several times here lately…….please get our house in order. I hear in the spirit that we need to stop taking life for granted because tragedy has not knocked on our doorstep. Get it right with God and people, too much is happening not to and at this point we cannot afford to continue to play around. I hope todays Fresh Morning Rain provoke us to look at our life to ensure that we are ready should our time come. Real talk for real life. Have a wonderfully blessed day and as always it is with much AGAPE. SDH!!!!
