Good morning peeps. Well. we had a taste of our first snow fall mixed with rain. Its kind of slick out there so be careful. LOL. Look whos talkin. Im the one who is forever grateful that the floor is always there to catch me. Two of the things to check out for ice and snow is something called Get A Grip--or Yaktrax. You put them on over your boots or shoes and they help prevent slipping on the ice. Check it out on-line. Theyre inexpensive and they work. Its gonna be a cold winter so start preparing for it this weekend. Get extra gloves and scarves and hats. Check out the $$$ Store for some of the inexpensive goodies. Also stock up on some snow and ice melt for your sidewalk and pathway. Petco has the animal friendly kind. Another good idea is to keep kitty litter in the trunk of your car. If your car gets stuck in the snow or ice--just throw some kitty litter around the area and youll be good to go.If you take care of strays outside--you might want to get insulated/foam boxes and fill it up with straw or hay --throw some blankets in there and put it in an enclosed area if you can. It will keep the strays who come around nice and warm. Be on guard and stay safe and always be ready to KICK ASS!!! MOLON LABE
