Good morning peeps. Yoh what a rich passage we have this morning. I shall post some thoughts on it a little later aswel. DAY/CHAPTER: Whoop whoop! Today is day #60 of our journey. Todays chapter is #GENESIS18. This is #post1. REFLECTION: In this post we shall only reflect on verses 1-8. The Lord apears to Abraham in the form of three persons (v.1). Isnt Abrahams reaction awesome? His first reaction when he sees the Lord is to RUN towards Him and BOW before Him (V.2). Furthermore Abraham begs the Lord not to Pass him by (v.3). Lastly, Abraham serves the Lord with a feast (Vv.4-8). Is that your reaction when you get in contact with the Lord? Do you run to him because u just cant wait to get to him? Do you bow before Him as a result of knowing who He is? Do you crave His pressence enough to beg Him not to pass you by? Do you serve him with your best? These days weve become so comfortable with God that we rarely do these things. When we experience His manifested pressence its more about us, than Him. Its more about Him serving us than the other way around. But theres still time to set this balance right. So lets use this moment to change our thinking and renew our mind. Lets pray... PRAYER: Lord I pray that I might consider the fact that I was made for you and not the other way around. Help me to hold fast to this truth so that it may be demonstrated when I relate to You. That I might run to and bow before You, crave your pressence and serve You with the best of me. Amen.
