Good morning, rise and shine! Today I’m going to start with - TopicsExpress

Good morning, rise and shine! Today I’m going to start with switching from washing my face with soap to a fifteen-minute avocado & oatmeal mask. After chit-chatting with a woman from Europe who was immensely knowledgeable on pH levels in skin, air, water, and products that people buy today to use on themselves, I have taken some time to do some research so I can make better choices for myself. I don’t have bad skin and I often use oil on my face to keep it looking healthy and smooth. I do occasionally break out with frustrating high-school blemishes, but I assumed it was from not washing my face or from the foods I was eating. Well, it’s been over a year now that I have changed my diet; my selection on nourishment has highly improved and is truly showing a difference in my appearance, attitude, brain functioning skills, and energy levels. As for washing my face, I do that enough to know this could not possibly be the problem. So what is it? What is going on with my skin, my body? I want to know and I must seek answers. So here we are, the dedicated lady who spoke with a silver tongue about not using soap on my face, and that if I must, the only thing I should even try to reach out for, is in the baby supplies isle; that only soap made for babies is gentle enough for me, but if I went without it, even better. But “Why” I had to ask, I did not understand. I came in for questions regarding a time when I was at an appointment for a facial waxing where later on that day little red bumps showed up all around the waxing area. I was nervous the tools were not cleaned properly, I had been told that the heat was annoying my skin and that’s what caused it, and a few other suggestions causes had been thrown out by salon stylists that I had seen in the past. None of them were right, I went home and bought my own waxing kits and started doing my own grooming, and found that the heat was just right and the techniques were proper, none of their theories were accurate, but they were all creative guesses. Still at home, any time I do this waxing, I have problems with skin inflammation. Every time I wax, when I am finished I wash away everything and sometimes even wash my face twice to get all of the wax, soothing lotion, and oils off. *It’s almost as if the harder I try to keep my face clean, the dirtier it gets. “Help Me Miss Skin Care Expert Lady Who’s Not Paid Enough To Work At This Shitty Store!” It’s an old saloon bar style talk; we stand at the counter, shoulder to shoulder, ear to ear, facing forward looking at the mirror back at ourselves as we talk. “So what’s this PH in my skin soap stuff? Huh? What are you talking about again? Could you explain please?” Im learning man, it’s a journey ok! Bwhahaha. Come along with me
