Good morning series - Today is the day for our heroins and heroes. It is a day we should reflect on some of the happenings in our society as well. Kuchoma vijana or is it Jeshi. Tukiwachoma leo kesho viongozi watatoka wapi? What would those who burn our children feel or do if they found somebody burning their own children. You can’t create a society by destroying the youth. Beer is not necessarily bad but we cannot support the consumption of poison in the name of cheap brew courtesy of money from leaders. This is another form of enslaving our own people and is nothing to be proud of in this occasion when we celebrate our heroes/heroins. Leaders are role models and young potential leaders will learn from current leaders. So some potential young leaders are probably thinking that kuchoma jeshi is a cool/noble thing so I ask - are we leading or misleading?
