Good morning since I have had many asking what i think about reducing on traffic in Kla? This is where, I think we should start. Stop thinking wider roads and pole free town will save the day. Widening the roads will cost us & government alot in compensations etc. The most efficient way first is to reduce on importing used cars, more than 5 yrs old, we shall save the environment save on importation of used spares that costs the country alot in out going forex, used spares have a short work span in a car, especially when put to test on our roads, the difference between a new shock absorber and used one, take for example on a primo is 20k ugx surely why buy used! The amount of damage the old cars cost the general public due to bad mechanical condition is quite arbnormal, accidents cost the economy unbelievable forex in new & used parts, very poorly maintained cars cause road accidents that cost government hospitals a fortune through medical and we the families of the injured our hard earned money. So you want to get home quick reduce on pollution think of doing the right thing first then the easiest thing next, its getting scary. I know I shall have many getting it all twisted! kindly be advised that your old car will automatically appreciate in value big time, so to those that have old cars keep them till the law comes into force I pray 1/1/2015. Old is Gold. Scarcity of gold pushes the price up! Used cars will have more value. Good day & God bless.
