Good morning to all. Here is a thought to carry along: I n the stable was ONE for whom the world had no room. He was naked and helpless, much loved but also greatly hated. No wonder that at Bethlehem, wise men brought myrrh to Jesus, and the same spice was brought to cover his body after his death. So it was that Christ’s first days gave a miniature picture of his death. And no wonder that amidst the happiness of his birth, and amidst the blessing uttered by a, “just and devout” old man, his mother hears these bothering words; “a sward shall pierce through thy own soul also”( Luke 2: 35). Friends, He came to die for you and me. Let us ponder on this matchless love, and carry it along with us all through 2015, which is just to start! Blessings.
