Good morning to you all! I guess that we have all enjoyed the final of the World Cup Soccer and now it is almost back to normal! We continue our journey with the Lord and with each other as we share in the devotions every day! God bless and keep you in the palm of His mighty hand Love always Jen Monday 14 July 2014 Reading: Psalm 112:4 Even in darkness, light dawns for the upright, for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous. Reflection: We all face darkness at some time or the other. We cannot escape the trials and tribulations of this world. But even when we face the darkness, His light can still shine in us. His light will shine on us, and we will experience His peace in the darkest times in our lives. God is there to always bring us hope and joy. He does not leave us alone in our time of darkness and suffering. His arm is not too short, and His ear is always attentive to our needs. Even in the dark times, His light shines for us. He is there with us, and will hold us close to His heart all the time. God will never barge in and take over, He stands and waits, hoping that we will turn to Him in the time of stress and distress. Will you run to Him today with all your needs. He is waiting to pick you up, to shine into those dark moments that hold us captive and squeeze the life out of us. I know that there are so many of our number who are having a really hard time at the moment. So many who are mourning, so many who are ill, and so many in pain of some sort of the other. You all need to know that God is closer than you think or know. He is there for you and wants to hold you in the palm of His mighty hand. He wants to pick you up and carry you close to His heart Will you allow Him to get really close to you today? Breath-prayer: Father thank you for always shining the light of Your love into my heart and life! In Jesus name Amen
