Good morning warriors. Today marks 4 weeks since I had trans-sig surgery to remove my AN. I am continuing to get stronger every day. I have been out a bit in my community shopping, driving and having dinner with friends and my hubby. My incision is healing nicely but itches sometimes and is sore in places. I make my husband look at it every few days to make sure it is ok. He reports that it is. Neck stiffness and headaches are my main issues it seems. Extra strength Tylenol and a heat wrap seem to help. In the mornings when I first wake up I have a bit of a headache and neck stiffness. I am trying to take 10 minutes or so before I get up to do some neck stretches to loosen things up and various times throughout the day and certainly before bed. While I am just in my house, the “wooziness” doesn’t seem to bother me. However, when I go out into the big world and take on Wal-Mart or the mall, it does. Just have to take it slow and know that it will get better. The more I can move around the better it will get. It continues to be a process but I am feeling really good and can’t wait to see my grandkids for Christmas next week.
