Good morning yall :) Hope everyone is doin well on this Saturday morn:) Im leavin in a bit to go spend time with my Mike. He is really being strong with all his struggles going on in him mind and body. He is still opening his left eye and is awake off and on now. He is battling another infection which the caring staff is so vigilant with giving him the specific antibiotics he needs to combat the specific infection. Weve been very diligent in finding an acute trauma rehab with ventilators in the Buffalo NY area. This has not been too successful yet. As of now we have another option to move my Mike to a select care unit specialized in what he needs. These facilities specialize in weening patients off of ventilators. The closest one is in Johnstown PA. Others are in Erie PA and Warren Ohio. So as we consider all the options and pros and cons we will ultimately make our final decision on whats best for Mike helping him to have a speedier recovery. My Mike will get the best care. He is my world, my hero and with all my heart will give him the best of my love and care and find a facility that will do the same
