Good news - we have 17 cracking bands for Heckyfest, 15 brand new to the festival! Bad news - Received some worrying news that made the headlines in The Press on Friday. Were very unlikely to get enough funding for the Crown of Lights summer festival this year. WE ARE IN DESPERATE NEED OF SPONSORS. Due to its huge popularity now after 11 festivals, anyone or any business seen to be financially supporting the festival would receive a great deal of kudos and goodwill. Please read the article attached and share this worrying story so as many people as possible are aware of the plight were in. Hopefully people will start coming forward with offers. We have very prominent display areas around the big white stage and around the park where sponsor banners and signs can go. Sponsors will also get a lot of mention in the media from now right up to the festival itself on July 19th. Bear with me if I dont reply immediately to any comments. Very busy at the moment.
