Good news: I completed painting my back porch, laundry room, utility room, and rear deck today (Ill upload pics of the rear deck tomorrow after I take them...). Bad news: Ms. Patches had a nasty little head-on encounter with a loaded paintbrush as I was doing the rear steps, ended up with a big, new brown spot to go with the grey and tan ones, and had to have it scrubbed off. Very. Carefully. (Cats dont like having their heads scrubbed. Fortunately, Mom left behind a large box full of little bottles of Hampton Inn and LaQuinta Inn soft shampoo and other hotel toiletries from her and Vics travels . . . Still, she took it pretty good, didnt put up a fight; it was like she knew it had to be . . .)
