Good news! The injured seagull was not killed on Friday night. Today (Sunday) I saw him again and was determined to catch him and get him help. I found a good sized box and with the help of two other people, had him cornered. Well, he slipped past our corner and started to run towards the water when all of a sudden, he spread his wings and flew low and for a short distance! After standing on the beach for a few moments, a group of seagulls flew away and he was among them! Henry, who had been helping me, said that he probably just walked to the water. I went to check and the seagull was GONE! He had flown away. Perhaps he wasnt as injured as he thought and us chasing him made him forget his injury. Another Festivus miracle!!
