Good news, bad news... Ok lets all admit its good news. Both of THDs Ebola patients have transferred to other out of state hospitals. It is very difficult for us to, in a sense, let go of our own. A member of the amazing administration at THD told me, with eyes full of tears: its just awful to see your own go. They are our family, but they are also happy tears. They will be back. They will be well. In watching the send off for Nina and seeing the faces of the exhausted nurses, MDs, and support staff team members, saying good bye to our two heroes, I saw the same sentiment in each one of their eyes. Everyone is scared for them both. Who is going to take care of them? Will they pamper OUR family like Dallas has done? Will the nurses, doctors, administration, and staff see them and treat them as family as well? I, and every other person, hopes and has faith that they will. I KNOW they will. From this site, people from all over the U.S. Have expressed their faith, hope, and love to our hospital, staff, and girls. I cant imagine that the love we all have wont be shared by their staff. So today, lets let go of that fear and see how this is good news. Our two sisters, daughters, nieces, granddaughters, friends- OUR FAMILY, WALKED to their planes, smiled and waved goodbye, put on their superwoman capes, and left us to continue to change the healthcare world for the better. To spread the same love and unity that they have built here in Dallas and other areas of the nation. So, lets send them off with smiles, prayers, and love. Where are each of you from?
