Good news first: Blazes vision is improving! Yay! And we were able to decrease the steroid drop to 4 times a day instead of 6 and his left eye pressure is fantastic! Blazes liver functions are all normal so he is tolerating the Methotrexate! :) Bad news: His eye pressure in his right eye has gone back up to 33. Dr. Lindquist added the Brimonidine back to the drops list making it 5 different drops twice daily. The uveitis is still not quiet either. Blaze has been on the Methotrexate long enough he is maxed out on the dose. Next step is to add Humira. :( Hoping the Humira will work so we can get him off the steroids. We will also have to be extra careful so we can keep him well. With his immune system suppressed, infection is a big risk. I hate that my baby has to be on so much medicine. But I know that God is working through his doctors to get him well! Trusting in Gods plan, even if I dont understand. Thank you all so much for the continued prayers!
