Good news for GCPS employees... the budget was approved (including a cost of living increase and a step increase). In addition the School Board approved a one-time salary adjustment for full-time, benefited employees equal to two days pay for each employee. The salary adjustment will be paid in a lump sum in June paychecks. Depending on their daily rate of pay, employees will receive a minimum payment of $200 and a maximum amount of $913. Higher-than-anticipated property tax collections, plus savings in the current year’s budget, will fund the one-time adjustment.
