Good news for whales. Greenpeace has been lobbying, fighting, blockading & getting blown up, arrested, and generally threatened to within their very existence. But a lot can be said for perseverance - and the will of people who will leave their comfortable homes to fight to preserve nature. Ive been in awe of Greenpeace since I was a child Watching the news and seeing these brave volunteers in little dingys stopping huge whaling ships. Images of the rainbow warrior persistently year In year out nipping at the heels of those badass Japanese harpoon ships. As a young boy I so wanted to join Greenpeace. They were at the time the only real voice for environmental awareness. Wherever nukes were being made, mass deforestation, and generally all those assholes taking the earth and its beautiful landscapes for granted Greenpeace was there. Good on you forever Greenpeace.
