Good news on Sharons Progress.: So, the hard cast has been replaced by a bigger, but far more comfortable REMOVABLE cast that I can take off to sleep & SHOWER!! Dr. said no soaking in tub yet, & still no weight-bearing for another 2 weeks. drat. But--if my leg itches I can scratch , if I want to undo enough Velcro to choke a horse. You can find me by following the trail of dry, flaky skin. Bought a scrub glove to exfoliate big time. Start physical therapy next week. Dr. was pleased w/ x-rays, saying the progress was better than he expected.
