Good night dear friends around the world! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Even though it is hot and miserable here this time of year, I am so thankful that I have my nature preserve right outside our living room window with tons of finches, (only about 2 gold finches this time of year, though), one chickadee, bunches of magpies, dozens of collared doves, mourning doves, starlings, robins, western scrub jay, hummingbird, and a whole flock of quail with 6 babies. The babies have grown like weeds this week--theyre about three times bigger than they were! The ducks are only occasional visitors now. We also have a family of resident sparrow hawks. Im sorry that the skunk smelled the place up so bad that we had to have the wildlife removal service get rid of him. He was awfully cute!
