Good nights rest makes a difference... Theres just nothing like being involved in something that had everything against it that struggles with seemingly unbeatable odds and WINS!!! The day I walked into the Gravois Mills VFW to talk with them about entertainment I knew there were lots of problems. But I also felt the attitude of determination with those old grizzled up Vets and I knew it could be done, so I stuck with the program no matter what some close to me thought, and guess what....!!!! The old run down building has been cleaned up, fresh paint, new air conditioning, the kitchen is very attractive with a new military decorative theme, a dream of a dance floor, and great acoustics. It is respectful of its military roots and mindful of its heritage, but very welcoming and eager to receive everyone through its doors. On my end of the game, the dance I play has been moved from Friday to Saturday and I am pleased to call my involvement and effort a worthwhile endeavor and highly recommend you share an evening with us at the Gravois Mills VFW..... you wont be disappointed..... Dont come if you arent prepared to say the Pledge of Allegiance before the music begins.........
