Good old Chuim has lovely cottages and friendly as well as knowledgable people. Just walk around in the evening around sunset and you will see people standing in their balconies or near their bungalow. The relatively low crowds on the streets and dim street lights add to the rustic feel around the area at night. It does not take too much to start a conversation about the good old days in Chuim and Bandra. People invite you to sit with them to chat and in all my photo shoots around Bandra since 2010 until now I rate this as the most friendly neighbourhood/goathan/village in Bandra. It happens in other places too as I have experienced similar hospitality in the many area of Chapel road, Ranwar or Shirley etc too. However, it is prominent in Chuim maybe because it is more insulated from the outside crowds as people who use the lanes there are mostly from that area.
