Good old Mur was sitting up in a chair when I arrived she told me I think Ill be going home tomorrow! I said really. I think it might have been her pains meds talking. She told me about her entire day, all her visitors, the cross word puzzle, respiratory therapy, bowel movements or lack of I should say, she is not too happy about that, and a myriad of other topics. She smiled and laughed and engaged with all the staff. I told them all she could not hear them and would answer them or make pretend she could hear them! She wanted to get up and walk to the bathroom herself even with her oxygen cannulas in! Honestly she really is a miracle. 90 years old, pneumonia in both lungs, deaf, with oxygen but she is tougher than me. Keep praying for her! She was watching the Bruins but wanted me to tell her what channel the ball dropping was on so she would not miss it! I told her but after I got her into her bed and settled and turned her lights out she said well maybe I wont watch the ball drop after all. :) She did want me to remember her crocheting tomorrow as she is bored! i just love her!
