Good sesh on the central highlands lakes. First stop was bullarto just to sus it out didnt fish it much. Pretty little res. then we moved on to Hepburn . It was about 3 just missed the dun hatch there was a few still coming of the water. Stating at the wall dad hook up to a fine rainbow trout but unfortunately he droped it. May I had a perfect breeze . Then the wind changed. Duns gone. No rises. We fished till 12 then retired to the swag. Woke up and the wind was still not in our favour. So we went to newlyn. Was nothing moving so we went to a old fav the werribee river to see if it had recovered from drought . It had ! Thats were I got the fish I wasnt going to reveal it but these fish are hark work.. And hard to find. Plus I trust that the people on this page will look after it anyway. After meeting the boys back at the car with fist pumps and heel clicks. Haha. We settled for a feed. And set off for tulla. Got there around 2 fished wooly buggers and nymphs, till dinner . Jack caught a few reddys and miss a nice brown . After the BBQ dinner we waited for the arvo rise. There was no rise. So we searched with multiple wets. With no success.
