Good start to our cruise. We stayed on the ship at Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas because we have been there before are are not big fans of the beach, any beach. On the ship we caught a good movie, The Hundred Foot Journey, from the comfy chairs in the Screening Room on the ship. We have spent at least part of every night in the BB King Blues Club onboard. The band is outstanding. We finally got off the boat on Day 4 in Falmouth, Jamaica. It is a newer port without much of a city nearby. We checked out the little town of 7,000 and saw sprinter Ben Johnsons childhood home and then passed Usain Bolts school. We then floated on a bamboo raft down the Martha Brae river. We just sat while Clayton took us down the relaxing stream. Day 5 we tendered into George Town, Grand Cayman. We went to see and hold some sea turtles and then, after years of being told to go, we went to Hell. Hell is a little tourist trap named for the field of black ancient coral found there. We wrapped up with a stop at the Tortuga rum cake factory. They werent making them at the time we were there, but the free samples of coconut Tortuga rum eased the disappointment. New Years Eve was at sea, and with two free bottles of champagne in our cabin, we were ready. The BB King All Stars played in the new year in the top deck outside and by 12:05 we party animals were heading to our cabin. Today we wander around Key West.
