Good to see people at the coffee catch up today – Thanks for organising Michelle :-) I mentioned a few resources (blogs, youtube videos/channels) today, which I said I would put up. Let me know if I forgot anything. YouTube Channels: Light by Coco – a Dutch women living with her American husband in San Francisco. Her videos cover a range of minimalism topics and are well organised. She has a minimalist studio apartment and takes part in Project 333 (wardrobe challenge by Courtney Carver) Clean.Simple.Free (was Zen Minimalist) – Alexia is a bit earlier in her minimalist ‘journey’ but she is easy to listen to and her videos are also well organised and keep to the point (if you haven’t guessed I hate it when you tubers turn on the camera and then indulge in a 20+ minute stream of consciousness!) YouTube Videos Jonathan Fields (from The Good Life Project) interviews Leo Babauta (of Zen Habits blog): youtu.be/yMyN9w_PR3c There are also some documentaries about materialism/consumerism – here are two: The Trap of Materialism: youtu.be/DtwXryPNciM A doco based on Naomi Klein’s book ‘The Shock Doctrine’ : youtu.be/UMV3FHLh1Ik Blogs This blog is by an American women living in Paris. She was a sustainability major in college and is keen on the zero waste ethos – this extends to her 20 piece (designer!) wardrobe. She recently posted pictures of her very minimalist apartment: paris-to-go/ This is a new discovery but I am enjoying it so far – a blog about simplicity written in English by a French women who also lives in Paris: the-nife.blogspot.fr/ Hope someone finds this useful. Liarna and Michelle can you post the websites you mentioned today?
