Good win, 6 on the bounce. Huge momentum going into the busy Christmas period. 5 points behind City who have their best players out for a few weeks, its not impossible for United to take advantage and fight for 2nd. A couple of losses for City and we could go into 2nd if we can keep our form going. I dont think we have a hope of coming close to the title, and Id be chuffed with 3rd place after last seasons disaster, but a push for 2nd would be good to see. We won the game missing Rafa, Shaw, Smalling, Rojo, Blind, Di Maria and only saw 10 mins of Falcao. If they were all 100% fit, theyd be concrete starters, so its exciting to see where we will be when our side is at full strength. With the ridiculous mount of injuries, weve not even seen our best 11 players on the pitch at the same time. David De Gea though... The game could still be going on now and Liverpool still wouldnt have scored. He was huge. Hes practically irreplaceable to us. The goalkeepers who are better than him are unttainable, but hes comfortably in the top 3 or 5 around. He must have won us 10 points or so this season. #Mendos
