Good workout today....Swam like a fish even did a few under waters for old time sake..finished up steam/hot tub..Im finally starting to see dividends & feel the good physical changes..While being very mindful/careful of my back/knee injuries and wearing knee support.. Im having scope surgery soon on my right knee..Yea..Starting a mini 5 day fast not cause I ate too much at Thanksgiving.. I want to rid my body of toxins/purge I used to do them years ago..The energy level soars and the post feeling is great when done correctly..Dusted off my Jack La Lane Juicer & bullet blender juicing all fruits/veggies along with Amino acids shakes Zero Solids..& almost no carbs..Im very committed. But I now really see my bodys greatest weakness which is the ultimate Oxymoron..Its like saying Obama is a Great American & President..My threshold for pain is off the chart/ too high..Which isnt a benefit to me anymore ..Maybe thats why the VA denied me. I dont complain enough & play the game. Even my Primary VA doctor told me that...And I have gutted out so much injury over the years...I really blew my right knee bad doing a night jump 800ft with heavy equipment and a M-60 at White Sands New Mexico Desert Phase then..Im thinking it was more like 500ft. I was on the ground as soon as I exited the 141 didnt do a PLF as I was fighting to get my Alice to released It was so dark I didnt see the ground then humped 30 clicks in so much pain gutted 30 more days there and Jungle/swamp phase at Eglin freezing cold/wet to the bone the whole time then back to Benning..My knee was swollen the size of a large grapefruit no meds & no way I was washing out..I talked the young female doctor not to medically wash me out by acting like it wasnt so bad...I knew how bad It would reflect against my Small Air Force unit to fail any Elite Army schools even with a injury...She noted on my medical records how bad my knee looked after the jump..I even have the page highlighted and still cant get a service related card from the VA....I think the VA personally has the words DENY on their data base beside my name. As so many of my Special Ops Brothers are like me forced to the back of the bus with no priority.... hoping we will give up and go away as this current government hands out money like candy to illegals and welfare queens who will vote for them. We gutted it out as a personal statement/Pride to make it or do a job that so few could..Thank God has blessed me with good health and a strong body and mind. Im not going to roll over as the VA hopes...Im going to get very legal and fight the government for what is rightfully mine even if I was crazy rich and had the best health care money could buy, Id still fight then based on Principle alone and Im going to rehab strong after they get all this loose gravel out of my knee! Im not complaining nor do I feel sorry for myself or think I made bad choices by doing those things.....So many have done far more and suffered more and paid the ultimate price so that we can express such statements here today...I think this is a excellent forum to share and network this info as so many of us in these combat career fields now suffer back/neck and knee problems and its a great example of how our VA and Goverment treats our military veterans they know are are not lying....They know about Paratroopers back....Nobody I know here is trying to make a living off the VA or Government we all have jobs or are self employed and or retired after years of paying taxes.....and if your trying to make a living off the VA Im feeling sorry for ya. We just want them to honor their agreement with us as we did with our country. Im sorry so long winded but sometimes I get on a roll....Its a nice Friday enjoy the day and the upcoming weekend all!! And Remember without the brave there would be no land of the free. Without the solider No liberal would have the right to burn our flag!
