Goodbye ‘A New Day…’ On this day in 2007, Celine gave the final performance of her first Las Vegas show ‘A New Day…’. After a 5 year residency, the curtains dropped at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. During this last show, Celine performed what was then her newest hit, “Taking Chances” (bit.ly/1usTL4p), from the album of the same name, in addition to the show’s usual set list.
