Goodbye Melbourne - The end of a dream trip for me seeing Bruce Springsteen and The E street band perform 7 shows in 3 cities. It was very hard work getting the tickets I wanted and even harder work to get where I wanted to be in the crowds - had to make a lot of sacrifices but it was worth it in the end - each 3 hour plus show went by in the blink of an eye. Im very jealous of the lucky Tramps who will continue to follow the Bruce Springsteen tour as it goes to Sydney, Hunter Valley, Brisbane and Auckland but I am also exhilarated to have ended my leg of the tour with a show Ill never forget in Melbourne last night. Massive thanks to Rebecca and Vanessa for all the help in Melbourne. Dont know how I could have done it without you. I was able to have a much needed sleep between roll calls and wake up to find packed lunch, transport sorted, and washing done. Huge thanks also to Rebecca, Vanessa and Christine for all the help getting the tickets back in August. I should probably have a Krispy Kreme now (just to make sure they are OK :) ) And here is the traditional mic shot taken on stage before the 2nd concert in Melbourne - Im pretty easy to spot :) (Expect a few more posts on this subject as I go through the photos from the concerts)
