Goodmorning! I did it! Camped in autumn and touched the earth first thing in the morning to prove it. This can be done (by me), and I plan to do more of it! On my way here yesterday, I ofcourse had to ask for directions. (Anyone who knows me well knows I have mastered the art of getting lost in Iceland,) after giving directions he asked You do know that Icelandic s do not camp in this weather. Which hotel are you staying in Reykjavik? I smiled and said I am Icelandic, I live and work in Reykjavik, and I am going to camp tonight. And so I did! Last night, I watched the northern lights. It was a simple show. Nothing spectacular, but absolutely magnificent! The moon was big and bright and the stars littered the sky, there was a gentle breeze that cooled the air. Its time for breakfast! Have a great day everyone!
