Goodmorting fam... This is for somebody! #christiangorlsrock #nothingwasted #youarenotdamagedgoods #christianmenrock #weallrock When you feel like damaged goods. “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:32 Have someone ever tried to make you feel like no one else will want you? And for fear of them being right, you chose to stay with them. “Who will want me? Who will love me as I am? I am damaged goods.” The enemy is the accuser of the brethren and his job is to accuse us for every wrong we’ve done. He speaks through people and through negative situations to discourage our faith and weaken our confidence. He sounds just like a jealous ex-lover, whispering “No will else will want you.” Maybe you feel you’ve sinned too much. Seen too much. Done too much and your self-esteem is shattered. But did you know that you don’t have to listen to the devil, that accuser of the brethren. Give not one second of your attention to his accusations. Not one second. Rebuke every word he speaks. Put him under your feet where he belongs. Hold up your head and speak with authority of what will be. Magnify God, make Him bigger than anything, and talk of what He is able to do despite your past. Tell yourself “God didn’t spare His own Son, but delivered him up for me! How shall he not with him also freely give me all things?” You didn’t deserve salvation, but you received it anyway. Aren’t you glad? You may not think you deserve the love of God, but receive it anyway. Even when you feel you don’t deserve the promises of God, receive it anyway. Let nothing and no one stop you from receiving in your life what God so desperately pants to give you. You may feel like damaged goods, but the truth is you are a daughter of God. You are loved. You are favored. You are accepted. You are special. You are His.
