Goodness in deep rooted in indian villages. Goodness and religiousness and dharmam. The goodness will not die. But the villages may themselves die and we need to act to revive indian villages. Just ensure secure livlihoods. They were secure with their water systems, their agriculture, ther potters - all operating sustainably. We went and gave them borewell technology and the groundwater has got finished. We gave them plastice and the potter went destitute. We taught them to desire soaps and toothpastes and cell phones ... and they sell the last drop of milk, retaining nothing for their children, to buy these desirables. Now what do we do ? Where do we begin ?
