Hows this for scaremongering. When the Irish voted on the treaty, the Brits promised them a long and bloody war if they didnt vote for the treaty. So they narrowly voted for the treaty and were plunged into a bloody civil war even though they did what they were asked to avoid such a calamity. Its still not been resolved. Well here is a warning from history, if there is a narrow no victory then there will be a long and bloody war of independence. It will also be a legitimate war of independence.
