Goodnight my love, look at this lover’s eyes Before you sleep tonight I cannot imagine what life would have been Had we not met my dear, it would have been So different but who cares really what might Have been - you and I met in a cross road of our Lives as was designed and made in heaven, Perfectly designed for you and I by the greatest Designer of them all and I can’t ask for anything More. Thanks heaven and our guardian angels, and our Benevolent benefactor who made it all happen - By just a wink of an eye it seems, and by a wave Of a magic wand, we were spellbound in a wonderland Of love. Ah, my dearest, I do want to count the minutes And the hours and the days and the years we have been Together but I can’t count them all, no need in fact to - we just felt and embraced them - for we were, dearest, In wonderland - in a wonderland of love; and if we will relive Every moment, we will be lost in the wonder of it all. And so now my love – we may even close our eyes, but the dream Will live on - it cannot die any natural death as it will live forever -till End of time - so it has been been decreed, and so it will be - Ask me And my loving heart, and my pen – if I can help it, our love will be emblazoned In the stars, forever and ever more my love - so long as lovers are still dazed And enamored with a twinkle in their eyes at the sight of their Loved ones, So will our love live on - for the twinkle in our eyes can be seen in the twinkle In every lovers’ eyes.
