Google brings some real world reasoning to the FCC regarding reclassification of ISPs under Title II. If ISPs were under Title II it would make them a utility which means Google, and anyone else, would get better/easier/cheaper access to existing utilitiy poles and lines which are necessary to roll out new internet services. Currently Comcast and AT&T are both going out of their way to stop Google from rolling out Fiber as they own these poles and refuse to let Google or even the local city use them. If reclassified as a Utility, those poles and other lines would be fair game for everyone to use, mainly Google. TLDR: If FCC goes with Title II reclassification, Google Fiber could start rolling out NATIONWIDE.
