Goood evening all, tonight I have banned a BF supporter from commenting on the page... His comments descended into extreme hatred across numerous posts. As you know we always try to engage in reasoned debate, but there comes a time we have a duty of care to our members and to ourselves... We have little control of hateful comments on BF but we do have control of hateful comments here... If the comments of those who come here descend into extreme hated, abuse of members or admins - they are gone. It takes up much admin time trying to reason, but we give it freely because there are those occasional times when someone sees a different perspective and joins.. or visits to give valuable input. And that is always a good day. It is also important to thank you for your input with these people too... Some of your responses, I will be using myself in later debates! - Nell
