Gooood morning America, Hot Vegas, fb amigos, Calleros familia, and Church family, What a grand day it is in deed!! ....now who is Jesus Christ? According to the Bible, Jesus Christ is God, the second person of the Trinity, The Creator of the universe. The Bible says, " In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and Word was God......The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us" John 1:1,14 God descended to take on a human body. What did He come to do? Let me explain it by illustration. The Bible says that in a book is written all the things you have ever done in this life, all our sins, all our thoughts, all our motivations, all that we have ever done in secret- all is registered in this book. the Bible says that one day The books will be open and all will know everything about us . This I think would be a very embarrassing day to many. I am convinced that if anyone is judged by what is registered in this book surely their life is condemned. This book is our greatest problem, our sin. Here is our sin over us as a great heavy load.This is what keeps us from going to Heaven and separated for ever from God. What are we to do? In the Old Testament God provided a way to liberate His people from their sins by a prototype of Jesus as a lamb. In the New Testament John the Baptist said of Jesus " behold the Lamb of God". When Jesus Came, He completed His mission. What was His Mission? This verse from the Bible puts it this way: " All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord God hath laid on Him the sins of us all.." Isaiah 53:6 Jesus was sacrificed on the cross as the sacrificial lamb of God and on that day the Bible says God put all our sins that are registered in that book upon Jesus and charged Him with it all!! All the sin He hates He charged His Son with it all. The Bible proclaims it this way, "Yet it pleased Him to bruise Him; He hath put Him to grief: when thou shalt make His soul an offering for sin." Isaiah 53:10 God let go all His hatred of sin on His Son. Christ took our place, like a substitute, He paid the payment of sin. Yet, Jesus said He would go and prepare a place for us in Heaven. John 14:2 You know what my friends? this place that Jesus is preparing for us offers it to us freely, He paid for it all ready and offers it to us freely. So How Can We Receive this free gift of God?
