Goose Sisters @ The Fish Camp~:>) Tue. 8/6/96-Great Bear Lake-Northwest Territories-Canada: A trio of long-ranging expeditionary Grumman Goose amphibian flying-boats arrive at 2:00-am to setup camp in the far-away wilderness for some awesome fishing fun by their parties. These Gooses were owned by 3 longtime pilot-pals fm Portland, Oregon & all based @ Hillsboro Airport. Out of sheer-coincidence~these 3 original Model G-21A aircraft were built together as~assembly-line sisters during Oct. thru Dec. 1939 by Grumman Aircrafts famous~Iron Works Factory, located in Bethpage, Long Island, NY. Pictured (Front-to-back) are: Mike Warns~N63MW (s/n-1059), Larry Teufels~N48550 (s/n-1061) & Dan Vollums highly-modified McKinnon turbine propjet G-21G Super-Goose~N77AQ (s/n-1062/McK#-1205).
