Goosebumps and tears for me today. After an 18 hour day yesterday and 5 hours sleep we were on the bus at 5:45 am for the short trip to Vatican City for the Papal Audience. We got there at 6 am. Met our private guide at 7 and waited in the beautiful Italian sunlight for the Pope to arrive in the square on the open air Popemobile at 9:45. We were fortunate to have seats Im the third row as he drove thru the crowd. I have never felt so humbled in my life. His message was beautiful and I felt I could apply it personally to myself. If I had seen nothing else in Rome all week, THIS morning would have been enough for me. Believe me when I say I prayed for a few special intentions of my own and for blessings on my friends and anyone else whom Ive told I would remember in my prayers so, if youre reading this, know that you were specially remembered today in Rome ❤️
