Pa = protector, master. GoPa = master of the indriyas = Intellect. Vadhuti = wife of. Gopa Vadhuti = something that serves the Intellect = Mind or Manas. Dhukoolam = Dress or covering. Gopa Vadhuti Dhukoolam = something that covers the mind = Maya. Chora = Thief. Gopa Vadhuti Dhukoola Chora = One who steals away the veil of Maya. Pure Consciousness or Brahman.
