Gordon Brown today spoke of what Scotland should be PROUD of.. Heres what he failed to mention being proud of.. Proud of starting an illegal 11 year war that has destabilised the Middle East far more than it has stabilised it. Proud of lying to the international community and acting against its wishes. Proud of characterising operations in Iraq as a success story - his words. Proud of unequal investment throughout the UK during his & New Labours time in power and only being marginally more just than the torries they replaced. Proud of Scottish & Englishmen fighting together against Irish independence in 1919. Proud of Great Britains history of exploitation & imperialist domination that resulted in 2 World Wars - also should Hitler, facism or the like rear its ugly head again with an invasion force on the shores of France Im sure we would unite together again but thats not what were voting for tomorrow. Gordon you had your time and FAILED together. This is not narrow nationalism, its independence and civic nationalism. Dont peddle the same old lies, empty promises, and use nostalgia to sway the undecided. You, and current associates Cameron, Clegg, Milliband, may have agreed to increase devolved powers, but you dont hold the powers the give. Parliament has to agree to do so and they have not done so yet, please correct me if Im wrong. Its a pledge and weve all heard your pledges before. Finally in the event of independence please dont enter Scottish politics you will do any potential left wing movement more harm than good. REAL RISK GORDAN BROWN.
