Goshen Factor III“They said moreover unto Pharaoh, For to sojourn in the land are we come; for thy servants have no pasture for their flocks; for the famine is sore in the land of Canaan: now therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants dwell in the land of Goshen.” Genesis 47:4 (KJV)In the midst of all happening around us, we should hide in the Lord God of our salvation. In John 17:17 Jesus prayed unto the Father “Sanctify them by the truth for thy word is truth”. In other words, in the midst of what is happening in the world today, there is a set of people set apart and separated who will not be partakers of evil. I declare to you today in the name that is above every other name, you will not be partakers in the evil of these days in Jesus name. God has not forgotten and will never forget His own; He cares for them affectionately and watches over them jealously. Whatever is happening today is not new to God. He is not taken unawares; He is fully prepared for it. God is the Almighty; He is supreme and is still in charge, so fear not.In the account scripture above, the whole region was suffering and dying from famine. You know the story, or you can read the preceding chapters for a full understanding. Everyone was suffering from the famine; it was only in Egypt that there was food. So Jacob heard there was food in Egypt and sent his sons to buy food, little did he know that the Prime Minister was his son, Joseph. Yes, there was famine in the land, but God went several years ahead and prepared Joseph to take care of His people. Of course, the father of the Prime Minister and his brothers will enjoy the choice places in Egypt. With insider information (given by Joseph) they ask for Goshen and the got it. Many years after, when God was going to judge Egypt, He preserved His children in Goshen.Beloved you are not ordinary, the Almighty God is on your side and if God be for you, no one can be against you. God has gone ahead of you to prepare a place that is your Goshen. All you need to do is to receive instruction from the mouth of God, and even in famine He will make you fat. I pray for you, irrespective of the challenge you may be facing, God will carve out a Goshen for you.
