Gospel according to Luke 6, 12-19 In those days, Jesus withdrew to the mountain to pray, and spent the night in prayer to God. When it was day, he called his disciples chose twelve of them and gave them the name of apostles. It was Simon who is called Peter, and his brother Andrew, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew, Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called the Zealot, Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor. Down from the mountain with his disciples and his apostles, he stopped at a plain. There was a lot of people, who had been both Judea and Jerusalem, and the coast of Tyre and Sidon. They had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases, and those who were tormented by unclean spirits were cured. Everyone tried to touch him because power came forth from him and healed them all. Word of the Lord. Glory to you, Lord Jesus.
