Got Mike off early to his Track Coaching clinic--hope he has a great time! Track is one of his favorite sports and one our whole family loves to follow! So proud to see him taking a dual Head coaching job as Head Boys and Girls Track coach at Nocona High School this Spring. I am so thankful for all he does to make my child and so many others better athletes and more importantly young people of character. He is always willing to learn, and so opposite of me, he is studious, deliberate, and rather quiet, which is sometimes mistaken by others as a sign he doesnt know as much as they think he does--so not the case. He strategizes and plans ways to change things up and win/succeed more than anyone I know. As an assistant coach, however, he is fiercely loyal and will train his athletes in whatever scheme the Head Coach prefers and will make sure they know his system, even if that means the immediate payoff is delayed. He truly loves every sport he coaches and it has been my pleasure to overhear the Coach Keith.... comments in the hall for all of the years weve coached/taught together. This year, he has added the role of coach/dad which he does an amazing job of balancing--way better than I would. #proudcoachswife
