Got New Years Eve plans yet? Why not start your celebration at The Root Cellar with a four-course farm dinner, with champagne wine pairing? We have a fabulous menu planned: spicy wood-fired oysters; kale salad with bacon, pears, chèvre, tossed in a pomegranate vinaigrette; cornbread with honey-whipped butter; Seven Springs’ pork loin, stuffed with champagne-soaked figs, apples and raisins; Hoppin’ John; winter greens of turnips, collards and mustard with smoked ham hocks; and triple chocolate cake, with Grand Mariner chocolate ganache and macerated raspberries.
