Got a baked ziti in the oven. Watching Ellen and resting my feet on the bed with little dogs jumping up and down on my legs. Crazy! Wish I had saved some bread, but I think I can fake some garlic toast with some garlic butter spread and some hot dog rolls. I feel guilty, but at least Im recycling the rolls, right? Saw the doctor today. Still had some minor openings in my back incision. Upon closer inspection, the PA discovered about 2 of clear stitching thread that hadnt dissolved and was irritating the incision. Should be able to fully close now. I cant wait because I really prefer a bath to a shower. My back is feeling better, but its still a work in progress. She explained that the reason I was still getting backaches was due to the surgeon having to remove a piece of bone to do the procedure. I guess this was all discussed with me prior to the surgery, but I swear I dont recall all of the fine points. I thought it was going to be just a little more involved than the trial. HA! Still, my foot is much improved. Yay me!
