Got a bizarre PM this morning from a model..(not a friend) who told me she loved my work..(here we go again, LOL) and would love to shoot with me. I checked her images, and they were so-so at best. And she appeared older to me..(not that age always matters, but at times, lets face it, it does) I do submit to publications, but there is a standard which must be met, which is an always for any published photog. She wanted me to shoot a glamour style for her, and then asked me how much I would pay her to shoot? WTF, pay her to shoot? Umm, no, aint happening. I rarely pay models to shoot and if I do, I will be the one offering such. I mainly get paid or do TF for new faces wanting exposure, but Im certainly not offering her pay to shoot. I told her I didnt have time right now..(trying to be kind, as opposed to the opposite) and then she accused me of not being professional cause I wouldnt shoot her. I explained I only did paid work and she blocked me. Oh, OK. Oh, the Thursday nuts are out. I do love this business, but sometimes youve got to laugh at some of the crazies out there.
