Got a call this morning from a woman who works at a hotel in Waukegan. Someone checked out and left their pit bull behind in the hotel room. And then she told me that she has a neighbor who has a little dog and she didnt want the dog anymore so she left it at the park nearby. The woman at the hotel said she saw the dog at the park and took the dog but cant keep it. She asked us if we would take it. First story likely true. Second story, who knows? Anyway, sad for the animals. The calls we get never stop amazing me. I couldnt make this stuff up.
